Ann M. (Vallieu) Brown, 78, of Butler died Friday, December 8, 2017, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Garrett.

She was born April 29, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Harold L. “Curley” and Hazel M. (Woolever) Vallieu.

Ann married Richard L. “Dick” Brown on February 19, 1960, in Auburn, and he passed away May 29, 2006.

Ann worked for the Dana Corp. in Fort Wayne for 30 years, retiring in 2000.

She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Edgerton, Ohio.

Surviving are three daughters, Elizabeth Brown of Butler, Kathy (Eric Smith) Brown of Waterloo, and Patricia (Robert) Thain of Butler; six grandchildren, Nicholas (Nikki) Thrush, Dexter (Ashley) Thain, Danielle (Kevin) Baker, Scott (Ashley DeKoninck) Thrush, MaKayla Thain, and Alex Thain; nine great grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Herb Kleeman of Garrett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and three sisters, Maxine Bond, Betty Kleeman and Norma Allen.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with Pastor Kurt Letcher officiating. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
