Spencerville- Anna Marie Hoover, 80 of Spencerville died Wednesday January 3, 2018 at her home. She was born June 2, 1937 in Hicksville, OH to Art and Mabel Schlosser. She was a 1955 graduate of Hicksville High School. She retired from Magnavox / Phillips in Auburn. Anna Marie married Donald Hoover on June 11, 1955 in Harlan and he passed away December 15, 2010. Surviving are 3 sons, Mr. & Mrs. Dennis Hoover of Spencerville, Ronald (Becky) Hoover of Spencerville and Jeffrey (Cheryl) Hoover of Spencerville; There are 5 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. 2 brothers and a sister, Mary Greutman of Fort Wayne, Sonny (Laura) Schlosser of Auburn and David (Rene) Schlosser of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter in law, Susan Hoover, sister Linda Doctor and a brother Carl Schlosser. Services will be 11 am Monday January 8, 2018 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN. Burial will follow in Scipio Cemetery in Harlan. Calling is Sunday from 2 to 5 and also 1 hour prior to the service Monday from 10 to 11 at the funeral home. Memorials can be directed to the Riverdale Elementary School Playground Fund.
