Bernard J (Bernie) Becker

Auburn – Bernard J “Bernie” Becker, 63 of Auburn died Wednesday May 30, 2018 with his family at his side. He was born January 27, 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA to Bernard and Dorothy (Collins) Becker. They have both passed away. Bernie is a 1973 graduate of Chartiers Valley High School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in 1978 from The Pennsylvania State University. He was an Industrial Sales Administrator for Tork Products Inc. in Fort Wayne. He was a member of Penn State Alumni Club, Michiana Working Dog Association, Auburn Elks Lodge, Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club, United Schutzhund Club of America and was an Eagle Scout. Bernie married Janet Jordan on September 18, 1982 in Pittsburgh, PA and she survives in Auburn. Also surviving is a daughter Dr Emily S Becker of Jeffersonville, IN and a son Robert B Becker of Stevensville, MI. A sister and 2 brothers, Marylynne Wilson of Jacksonville, FL, Richard (Kathie) Becker of St. Louis, MO, Robert (Betty Bullock) Becker of Bethalto, IL and “Grady” his German Shepherd. The family will receive friends on Saturday June 9, 2018 from 2 to 5 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations in Bernie’s memory be given to an Animal Shelter or Rescue organization of the donor’s choice.
