Bonnie Lou Ewers, 75, of Auburn passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 12, 2016, at DeKalb Health in Auburn.

She was born Aug. 29, 1941, in Angola to Raymond and Irene (Nelson) Musser.

Bonnie was a homemaker and doll collector who enjoyed the adventure of garage sales with her sister, Della.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, David Ewers of Auburn; three sons, James (Pamela) Ewers of Dalton, Georgia, Raymond Ewers of Palmer, Alaska, and Jeffery Ewers of Prairie Home, Missouri; two daughters, Dawn (Chad) Wood of Rossville, Georgia, and Deborah Rifkin of Clarksville, Tennessee; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ened (Virgil) Pankop of Waterloo and Della (Gary Mertz) Huffman of Waterloo; 14 nieces and nephews; her favorite cousins, Marcella, Judy, Ruth, Joyce, and Curtis; and her pet dog, “Dog”.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ray Musser Jr., and Donnie Musser; one sister, Connie Musser; two sons, David Ewers Jr. and Charles Ewers; and a daughter, Debora Ewers.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn.

Burial will take place at a later date.
