Butler - Carmen Michele Keuneke died Saturday, May 27th from complications of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Michele was born September 12, 1959. She traveled the globe with her 1st husband and lived for awhile in Germany. She was a long time resident of Butler, IN. She was an employee of Therma Tru Doors. She married her best friend, Steve, in May of 2003. She loved nature and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Steve Keuneke, her children Jeremy Barth, Chris (Sarina) Barth, Jenn (Scott) Young and Jeff Keuneke, her parents Steve and Jan Simmering, her siblings Bill (Julie) Martin, Kathy (Mark) Smith, Dona (Steve) Billings and Kerri (Michael) Webb, 9 grandchildren, and 21 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jessica Barth, her nephew Chance Smith, her ex-husband Carl “Barney” Barth and her grandparents. Services will be held Saturday June 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Butler United Methodist Church. Friends may call Friday, June 2nd from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm at the church and also Saturday 1 hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 also at the church.
