Carol Jo Cannon, 72, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, died unexpectedly from a brief battle with cancer, in her home in Angola on Monday, October 17, 2016, surrounded by those she loved dearly.

Her enduring devotion to her family would not allow her to give up her fight easily.

She was known for her tendency to nurture all of those with whom she came in contact and there were many beyond her own children who called her “Mom”.

She is survived by her husband Roger; her children, Jerry (Penny) Hendrix, Jeannette (Gary) Rinard, Sara Maxwell, Joe (Alicia) Milliman, and Josh Milliman; and her grandchildren, Casey Heller, Samantha Rinard, Amanda and Michaela Hendrix, Mya and Mikobe Maxwell, and Macey and Marty Milliman.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service on Friday. The Rev. Jeff Berry will be officiating. Burial will take place in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Golden Lake.

Visitation also will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
