Garrett – Carol E McPherson, 66, died Thursday June 8, 2017 at her home in Garrett. She was born in Garrett on October 14, 1950 to Robert C. and Margaret M (Custer) West. They have both passed away as have her three siblings, Linda Mosley, Richard West and Joseph West. Carol was a homemaker. She married Joseph “Jay” McPherson on November 4, 1967 in Butler and he survives. She is also survived by a son Joseph W. (Trudy) McPherson II of Angola; 2 daughters, Elaine (Gary) Mercer of Auburn and Dorothy (Josh) Evertts of Fort Wayne; A special niece she raised as her own, Jeannie Conley of Pleasant Lake; 6 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 2 great nieces. Services will be 11 am Monday June 12, 2017 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn with Deacon Steven J Roscoe officiating. Burial is in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Garrett.
