Claude Marshall, age 89, of Auburn passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at his daughter’s home in Peoria, Arizona. 

Mr. Marshall was born in Martin, Kentucky on January 25, 1928 to Albert and Annie (Flannery) Marshall. 

Claude married Doris Betz on April 14, 1979 in Auburn.  She preceded him in death on May 9, 2004.

He worked over 20 years for Corning Glass Works in both Albion, Michigan and Bluffton, Indiana.    

Claude was a musician and he loved playing and listening to country and bluegrass music.

Son; David Marshall of Atlanta, Georgia.

Son and daughter-in-law; Claude “Junior” and Cheva Marshall of Bluffton.

Son and daughter-in-law; Albert and Desriee Marshall of Bluffton.

Son; Elbert Marshall of Bluffton.

Son; Roger Marshall of Garrett.

Daughter; Priscilla Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona.

Daughter; Ruthie Robinson of Winchester, Kentucky.

Daughter; Claudette Bolin of Bluffton.

38 grandchildren and 70 great grandchildren.

Sister; Alberta Watson of Oklahoma.

Step daughter; Sue Gamble of Auburn.

Step daughter; Luanne Betz-Gerig of Hamilton Lake.

Step daughter; LeAnn Barnes of Auburn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son; James Grover Marshall, Step son; Ron Betz, 4 brothers; Doc, Ray, Ellis and Tate Marshall and 6 sisters; Grace, Dora Mae, Ethel, Dale, Louellen and Ode.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street in Waterloo.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Waterloo.

Burial will take place in the Eddy Cemetery in Hamilton.
