I have many fond memories of times spent with DeWayne. During grade school I spent an overnight stay at his home where we contacted lice while playing in an old chicken house. His mom had the perfect solution to rid us of the pesky little critters before they could reproduce by thoroughly shampooing our hair immediately. We later became neighbors when my family moved to a farm near theirs. He was a Christian that believed that he would go to a better place and I am sure he will be assigned a special place by our Lord. You will long be remembered by your friends and family. Because we shared the same first name, even though his spelling was funny, it did not cause to many problems in school with teachers and classmates.
