David Lee Beard, age 68, of Pleasant Lake passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his friends and family on April 24, 2017. 

He was born on February 23, 1949 in Auburn to Carl and June (Love) Beard. 

David delivered Tom’s Donuts in the area for 19 years.

He loved playing billiards, playing guitar and taking care of his property and his cats.

A special thank you goes out to his caretakers with hospice and he and Paula’s dear friends Deb, Kim, Lynn, Chris, Carol and Danny.

Survivors include: 

His wife of 41 years; Paula Beard of Pleasant Lake.

2 sons; Travis Beard and Nathan Beard both of Pleasant Lake.

2 daughters; Tracia and Beth.

Brother and sister-in-law; Steve and Cindy Beard.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no visitation or services.

Memorials may be directed to the family to help with expenses.
