David W. Howe, age 57, of Auburn passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. 

He was born in Auburn on July 14, 1960 to William and Gloria (Woodcock) Howe.  His parents reside in Auburn. 

Dave married Cindy Howell on November 28, 1981 in Garrett.  She preceded him in death on October 5, 2015.

He had worked as a tool and die maker at Rieke Packaging Systems in Auburn since 1978.  Dave served on the DeKalb County Fair Board for several years.  He enjoyed bowling in leagues in both Auburn and Butler and he was a member of the Butler Eagles and the Auburn Moose Lodge. 

Survivors Include:

Daughter and son-in-law; Corina and William Cooper of Auburn.

2 granddaughters with one on the way; Kodie and Reese.

His parents; William and Gloria Howe of Auburn.

Brother and sister-in-law; Kerry and Jamie Howe of Orland.

Several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife Cindy.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 3:00 PM in Middaugh Hall at the DeKalb County Fairgrounds, 708 South Union Street in Auburn.
