Kendallville – Donald W. Edgar Jr., 41, died Monday, May 20, 2013, at his home in Kendallville.
Mr. Edgar worked as a machinist at Parker Hannifin in Albion.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 240 of Avilla.
He loved the New York Yankees, Indianapolis Colts, Notre Dame Football, and his kids.
He was born Jan. 28, 1972, in Hicksville, Ohio.
Surviving are his father and step-mother, Donald W. Edgar Sr. and Cheri Edgar of St. Joe; a son, Gary Lynn Edgar of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Averie Makell Edgar of Kendallville; two brothers, John Phillip (Crystal) Edgar of Spencerville, and Jonas J. Edgar of Fort Wayne; and three sisters, Jessica Roark of St. Joe, Jaclyn (Ron) Deaton of Butler, and Jillian (Jimmy) Pask of Butler.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy (Heyman) Edgar; and a son, Dylan Michael Edgar.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 S. Center St., Auburn.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
