Hamilton - Gerard J. Ruppert, 74, of Hamilton passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn. 

A celebration of life service will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Fish Creek Trail, 3175 Bellefontaine Rd., Hamilton. 

Military honors will be conducted by the United States Army and American Legion Post 202. The DeKalb County Horsemen's Association will offer Gerard his final ride. 

Memorials may be directed to the Roy Ruppert Trust Fund.
