Glen “Dick” Worman, 89, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016, at DeKalb Health in Auburn.

He was born June 19, 1927, in Fort Wayne to Bert and Nettie (Tracey) Worman.

Dick was a veteran of the United States Navy serving with the Seabees where he was stationed in Okinawa during World War II.

He worked for International Harvester in Fort Wayne where he retired in 1974 after 30 years of service.

Dick was a member of the Francis E. Vinyard V.F.W. Post 2749 of Kendallville and the American Legion Post 86 of Kendallville. He enjoyed playing euchre at the V.F.W., fishing, and loved spending his winters with his wife, Lois, in Florida.

Dick married Lois Frank on Feb. 26, 1948, in Fort Wayne, and she survives in Auburn.

Also surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Deb Worman of Wolcottville, John and Vicki Worman of Wolcottville, and David and Shelley Worman of Wolcottville; seven grandchildren, Duane (Penny) Worman, Kim Worman, Kerrie Hutchison, Meaghan Ruckman, Tyler (Erin) Worman, Kelly (Adam) Lawrence, Kristie Worman, and Danielle Worman; and seven great-grandchildren, Montana Sebert, Rafe Worman, Layla Lawrence, Xander Worman, Braelynn Fisher, Wynifred Worman, and Gertrude Worman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter-in-law, Janice Worman; a granddaughter, Denise Worman; two brothers; and four sisters.

Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The Rev. Paul Burris will be officiating. Burial will take place at South Milford Cemetery with military honors conducted by the United States Navy and the Francis E. Vinyard V.F.W. Post 2749 of Kendallville.

Visitation will also be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
