BUTLER — Iola Winslow, 83, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, at Laurels of DeKalb in Butler. She was born May 2, 1933, in Talcum, Kentucky, to James and Elizabeth (Patrick) Ritchie. She worked for several years at Universal Tool in Butler as a billing clerk before retiring in 1994. She was an active member of the Auburn First United Methodist Church. She volunteered for Shelter Ministries for several years and after her retirement she helped with the Presbyterian Church Day Care for several years. Iola married Elmer J. Winslow on June 1, 1968, in the Waterloo United Methodist Church and he passed away Oct. 7, 1993. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and David Manon of Auburn; a stepson and his wife, Mark and Sheri George and family of Auburn; two grandsons, Patrick (Angel) Manon of St. Joe and Lucas (Katie) Manon of Auburn; three great-grandchildren, Emmerson Manon, William Manon and Rhett Manon; five brothers and two sisters, Luther Ritchie of Kentucky, Verdin (Patricia) Ritchie of Kentucky, Bill (Lillian) Ritchie of Auburn, Larry (Glenetta) Ritchie of Kentucky, Fern (Charles) Smith of Kentucky and Mildred (Vanson) Ritchie of Kentucky; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Ware of Auburn. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Vincent Ritchie; and a sister, Olive Estep. Services will be Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, Indiana, with the Rev. Wilbur Yates officiating. Burial is in Roselawn Cemetery, Auburn. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the Auburn First United Methodist Church or to Shelter Ministries.
