Jeane Hillabrand, 82, died on Friday, July 22, 2016.

She was born June 2, 1934, to Homer and Dorothy Personette. Jeane was married to the love of her life, Gary Hillabrand, for 58 years.

Jeane has always worked with children. She had her own in-home day care for 18 years and loved all her day care kids. She retired in 1997.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Herb and Jeri Hillabrand and Jon and LeAnn Hillabrand. She has six grandchildren, Chelsea, Alex, Cory, Nicole, Weston and Paul. She loved them very much.

Jeane’s surviving siblings include Belle Neidlinger, Mariola Morrison, Bobby Peters, Kay Langdon, Bonnie Smith and Susie Schrader.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Virginia “Ging”; a brother, Sonny Personette; her first husband and son, Harold and David Carothers.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 211 W. Ninth St., Auburn, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. The Rev. Dr. Marcus Carlson will be officiating.

Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn.
