Jody L. Frye, age 58, of Auburn passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.

She was born in Fort Wayne on April 18, 1959 to Bill and Janice (Johnson) Coak.  She graduated from Eastside High School in Butler in 1977.

Jody married Richard “Rick” Frye on October 14, 2003 in Sevierville, Tennessee.  He resides in Auburn.

She worked for DeKalb County child support enforcement for 17 years.  She then went to work for the Indiana Department of Child Services, child support bureau for 2 ½ years as a field consultant.

Her husband; Rick Frye of Auburn.

Her mother; Janice Deardorf of Auburn.

Daughter and son-in-law; Misty and Don Williams of St. Joe.

Son and his fiancé; Derrick Staley and Helen Meenach of Butler.

Son and daughter-in-law; Steven and Morgan Warstler of Fort Wayne.

Son and daughter-in-law; Richard “Rick” Frye II and his wife Stephanie of Cree Lake.

Son; David Frye of Auburn.

13 grandchildren; Javier Moreno and his wife Madison, Megan Moreno, Tiler Williams and his wife Kaitlin, Steven Williams, Dennis Williams, Levi Williams, Natalee Warstler, Jake Warstler, Madalynn Warstler, Kara Frye, Addison Frye, Makala Frye and Kolton Frye.

2 great grandchildren; Zaden Moreno and Avery Moreno.

Brother; Rick Coak of Fort Wayne.

Brother and sister-in-law; Chad and Rhonda Coak of Spencerville.

Brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Doug and Dawn Frye of Tennessee.

Brother-in-law and his girlfriend; Brian Frye and Tina Hartman of Waterloo.

Sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Jodie and Chris Botteron of Wisconsin.

Brother-in-law; Dennis Frye of Corunna.

Several nieces and nephews.

Jody was preceded in death by her father, father-in-law and mother-in-law; Lawrence and Patricia Frye and sister-in-law; Carol Coak.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. 

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Auburn.

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Bill Lyne.

Burial will take place at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
