Hamilton – Karl W Schieber, 85passed away Saturday October 22, 2016 at Cameron Memorial Hospital in Angola. He was born November 13, 1930 in Hamilton to Ralph and Pauline (Petre) Schieber. Karl worked at McCray Refrigeration in Kendallville, Litton in Kendallville and R.P. Wakefield in Waterloo before retiring in 1996. He married Barbara Camp on July 22, 1950 in Angola and she passed away on February 28, 2010. Surviving are two daughters, Sherry Lancaster of Pleasant Lake and Gloria Wimer and her husband Jeff of Hamilton; 3 grandchildren, Brandy Wimer, Eric (Sarah) Wimer, Kellie (Clint) Knauer; 15 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Larry Schieber, Enis Schieber, Judy DeLong and Lillie Smith; and a close friend and dance partner Harriett Walker. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 3 brothers Jack, Wendell and Dean Schieber and 2 sisters Clela Dickerson and Josephine Orten and a companion Shelby Daniels. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1 pm Thursday October 27. 2016 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN. The family will receive friends for 2 hours prior to the service from 11 to 1 Thursday at the funeral home.
