Hamilton – Kenneth A Baxter, 80 of Hamilton died Tuesday March 21, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was born March 10, 1937 in Convoy, OH to Bernard and Kathryn (Waller) Baxter. Kenneth was a lifetime farmer and also worked as a Supervisor at Universal Tool in Butler for over 35 years retiring in the early 90’s. He was a member of the Ashley K of P Lodge and the Hamilton Fish and Game Club. Surviving is his wife Irene (Hamilton) Baxter of Hamilton. They were married in Waterloo on July 28, 1973. Also surviving are 3 daughters and a son, Sherry Baxter, Ellen Baxter and Kay Vermeland all of Michigan and Less Baxter of Angola; 2 step daughters, Roxanne Stites and Wanda Stites both of Hamilton; 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; a brother and sister in law, Harold and Sharon Baxter of Hamilton, 2 sister in laws, Shirley Baxter of Mt. Sterling, KY and Sandy (Richard) Steith and a brother in law, Roger Holman of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Cloyce Baxter and 3 sisters, Dottie Baxter, Rosella Bostick and Roberta Holman. Services are 11 am Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo with Rev. Kim Nusbaum officiating. Burial in Eddy Cemetery, Hamilton, IN.
