Kenneth H. Buss, age 74, of Waterloo passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at his rural Waterloo home surrounded by his family. 

He was born on December 9, 1942 in Waterloo to George and Bethel (Hanes) Buss.

Mr. Buss proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1965. 

He married Peggy Hartzler on August 12, 1967 in Fort Wayne.  She resides in Waterloo.

Mr. Buss worked for Dana Corporation in Fort Wayne for 17 years retiring in 2004.

He was a member of the Garrett American Legion Post 178 and he was a lifetime member of the Navy Seabee Veterans of America. 

Survivors include: 

His wife of 49 years; Peggy Buss of Waterloo.

Son and daughter-in-law; Brad and Tandie Buss of Waterloo.

Daughter and son-in-law; Tammy and William Pulford of Fort Wayne.

3 grandchildren; Maddison Ford, Keagan Buss and Kenneth Pulford.

Brother; Jake Buss of Sturgis, Michigan.

Brother and sister-in-law; DeWayne and Julie Buss in Waterloo.

Brother; Claude Buss Jr. of Montana.

Sister; Susan Davis of Owensboro, Kentucky.

Preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Robert Buss.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
