Spencerville – Larry W Emenhiser, 79 died Thursday, January 11, 2018, at his home in rural Spencerville. He was born February 15, 1938 Fort Wayne to Ronald B and Loa (Laux) Emenhiser. They have both passed away. Larry was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked for 25 years at International Harvester and then worked 13 years for Nucor Fastener before retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in St. Joe. He belonged to the Butler American Legion Post 202. Served on the St. Joe Pickle Festival for 15 years, the Riverdale Youth League Board for 15 years and on the Spencerville Cub Scout/Boy Scout Board. He was a big fan of the Detroit Tigers, IU Basketball and Chicago Bears. Larry married Delores Davis on May 25, 1958 in the St. Mark Lutheran Church in St. Joe and she survives. He is also survived by 4 sons, their spouses and children, Chris and Liz Emenhiser of Spencerville and their children, Breanna Emenhiser, Brennan (Maggie) Emenhiser and Nicklas Shewman, Lonny and Mindy Emenhiser of Spencerville and their children, Kiersten Emenhiser and Seth Emenhiser, Tony and Stephani Emenhiser of Spencerville and their children, Logan Emenhiser, Landon Emenhiser and Brayden Baatz, and Kip and Lauri Emenhiser of Middlebury and their children, Chloe Emenhiser and Layne Emenhiser. He is also survived by a sister Linda Ross of Fountain, CO. Services will be 11 AM Monday January 15, 2018 at St. Mark Lutheran Church in St. Joe. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery in St. Joe. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn.
