Angola – Layton L John, 67, died Wednesday August 30, 2017 at his home on Lake Gage surrounded by his family. He was born May 27, 1950 in Auburn to Warren and Betty (Shutt) John. Layton is survived by his wife Jill (Kuhlhorst) John.; 2 sons and daughter in laws, Layton and Ann John of Pendleton and Josh and Meredith John of Indianapolis; 4 grandchildren, Riley John, Evan John, Dylan John and Layla Layton John; a brother and sister in law David and Cheryl John of Auburn. No services are planned at this time. Memorials can be given in Layton’s name to the Steuben County Cancer Association or the Dr. Lisa Thompson Center for Family Education at Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana.
