Maribel J. Wegmann, age 91, of Butler passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Laurel’s of DeKalb in Butler.
She was born in Allen County on June 17, 1926 to Chester and Clara (Jude) Gustin. She was a 1944 graduate of Harlan High School.
She married Roland Wegmann on July 15, 1950 in Woodburn. He preceded her in death on August 4, 2012.
Mrs. Wegmann worked at Sheller Globe in Grabill and Rexall Pharmacy in Butler retiring in 1992.
She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Auburn. Maribel was an avid reader and enjoyed baking. She volunteered at DeKalb Memorial Hospital for several years and she also volunteered for several years at the DeKalb County Fair parking cars.

Son and daughter-in-law; Dale and Claire Wegmann of Denver, Colorado.
Son and daughter-in-law; Keith and Terri Wegmann of Vancouver, Washington.
Son; Kent Wegmann of St. Paul, Minnesota.
Son; Dennis Wegmann of Fort Wayne.
Daughter and son-in-law; Patricia and Johnny Hickman of Ashley.
Nine grandchildren; Angela Eck, Cynthia Brecks, Jennifer Gabb, Matthew Wegmann, Nathan Wegmann, Cecily Wegmann, Elizabeth Wegmann, Maddie Wegmann and Brittany Wegmann.
Five great grandchildren.

Sister; Naomi Snyder of Harlan.
Sister; Norma Messman of Woodburn.
Sister; Carol Miller of Woodburn.
Sister; Judy Emenhiser of Woodburn.
Sister; Jane Yoder of Woodburn.
Brother-in-law and his wife; Lynn and Elizabeth Wegmann of Woodburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Roland, brother; Mark Gustin and two sisters; Helen Zuber and Eleanor Gustin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. Visitation will also be held on Saturday one hour prior to the funeral at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the church.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 1801 Main Street in Auburn.
Burial will take place at the South Scipio Cemetery in Harlan.
