Auburn – Jane “Bobbie” Dettwiller, 86 of Auburn died Monday March 13, 2017 at her home in Auburn. She was born January 23, 1931 in Webster Springs, West Virginia to Charles Fenton and Opal May (Heator) Herold. Jane was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. She married James Edward Dettwiller in April 1950 in Webster Springs, WV and he passed away in December 1985. Surviving are 2 daughters, Anne (Howard) Parsons of Coldwater, MI and Linda Cyran of Auburn; 8 grandchildren, Katherine (Mark) VanPoppel, Liane (Dan) Ambrose, Libby Cyran, Cara (Joe) Haymore, Michael (Ashley) Cyran, Stephen Parsons, James “Jake” Cyran and Hannah Cyran; great grandchildren, Chloe and Connor Ambrose, Kevin, Jason and Scott Haymore, Natalie and Luke VanPoppel and F. Michael Cyran IV. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Sue Alastanos and former son in law, Frank Cyran. Per her wishes cremation will take place and her family will take her back to her home state of West Virginia, which she dearly loved and bury her with her family.
