Nancy L. Glassie, 71, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at her home in Garrett.

Mrs. Glassie worked for the Renaissance Publishing Company in Auburn for 10 years and later retired from Home Depot in Auburn.

She was born July 14, 1945, in Dowagiac, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Paul Weaver and Beverly Weaver.

She married Richard J. “Dick” Glassie on June 23, 1995, in Auburn, and he died Aug. 29, 2010.

Surviving are five children, Brandi (Jeff) Burns of Auburn, Albert “Skip” Paluchniak of Goshen, Regina Paluchniak of Cromwell, Cheryl Paluchniak of Goshen, and Kathy Hendrickson of Goshen; six step-children, Glenn Glassie of Hampshire, Ill., Joseph Glassie of Roselle, Ill., Rick Glassie of Huntington, Pam Krieg of Palatine, Cindy Borre of Queen Creek, Ariz., and Cara Davis of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Donna (John) Grooms of Rochester, and Christine (Jim) Doty of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her step-mother, Mary Weaver of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Trent Paluchniak; and a grandson.

A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with Brother Bud Owen officiating.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
