Norma Jean (Heffley) Webb

Norma Jean Webb, age 90, of Auburn passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne with her family by her side. 

Mrs. Webb was born on April 10, 1928 in DeKalb County to Glenn and Wanda (Hutton) Heffley.  She was 1947 graduate of Auburn High School. 

She married Max L. Webb on September 2, 1949 at the home of Pastor Ferguson outside of Auburn.  Max resides in Auburn.

Mrs. Webb first worked at the Auburn Rubber Company.  Then she was a hairdresser for several years.  Lastly she worked in the DeKalb Middle School Cafeteria until her retirement in 1988.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Auburn where she attended the Keystone Sunday School Class.  She was also  a member of the Jacksonettes Homemakers Club and she was a longtime member of the Eastern Star in both Waterloo and Ashley. 

Survivors include: 

Her husband of 68 years; Max Webb of Auburn.

Daughter and son-in-law; Deb and Bruce Holden of Hamilton.

Daughter; Nancy Westrick of Auburn.

Son and daughter-in-law; Todd and Kris Webb of Auburn.

3 grandchildren and their spouses; Chad and Morgan Westrick, Katie and Kurt Tompkins and Kyle Holden.

4 great grandchildren.

Brother and sister-in-law; Bill and Janet Heffley of Fort Wayne.

Brother-in-law; Phillip Holom of Fort Wayne.

Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Max Heffley and Wayne Heffley and 2 sisters; Shirley Holom and Judy Korff.

As per Norma’s wishes there will be no visitation or public services.  Private family services will be held at a later date.

Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
