Raymond Crager, age 89, of Auburn passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 at his Auburn home. 

Mr. Crager was born on May 27, 1928 in Hueysville, Kentucky to Melvin and Laura (Handshoe) Crager.

He married Betty J. Morr on October 22, 1949 in Stroh.  She resides in Auburn.

Mr. Crager worked at the Auburn Foundry for 37 years and 3 months retiring in 1990.  He loved to be outside and doing work around the yard.  He especially like to spend time in his garden and enjoyed providing food to his family.  He also liked tinkering around the house fixing everything from cars to lamps.

Son and daughter-in-law; Larry and Kathy Crager of Curtis, Michigan.

Son and daughter-in-law; Maynard and Merry Crager of Pleasant Lake.

Daughter and son-in-law; Linda and Joseph Allen of Auburn.

Daughter; Sherrill Rosener of Auburn.

Daughter; Beth Jehl of Auburn.

16 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren.

Brother; Johnny Crager.

Brother and sister-in-law; Bernie and Nancy Crager.

Brother and sister-in-law; Steve and Debbie Crager.

Sister; Agnes Boleyn.

Sister and brother-in-law; Ann and Richard Squier.

Sister; Viola Morales.

Sister and brother-in-law; Dorlas and Gary Oliver.

Sister and brother-in-law; Bonnie and Earl Conley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; George Crager and Carlos Crager and one sister; Dorothy Mosley.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Auburn.

Burial will be at the Christian Union Cemetery in Garrett.

Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Roger Dilley.
