Rick E. Davis, 58, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016, at his home in Auburn surrounded by his family. He was born Aug. 21, 1958, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to Ned E. and Katherine E. (Overs) Davis, and they survive in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Rick worked for as a supervisor for Contech Castings in Auburn for 20 years then worked for Heidtman Steel in Butler as a supervisor for two years before retiring in 2016. He married Lynne A. Moran on Jan. 4, 1980, in St. Mary’s, Ohio, and she survives in Auburn. Rick was a member of the St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hicksville, Ohio. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion in St. Mary’s, Ohio. Rick was a true Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan and also enjoyed fishing. His true passion was his grandchildren Also surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Ryan E. and Michelle Davis of Auburn; a daughter and son-in-law, Angie F. and Brian Lee of Auburn; Four grandchildren, Brooke Davis, Bridget Davis, Bristol Davis and Davis Lee; a brother and sister-in-law, Mike A. and Carla Davis of Wapakoneta, Ohio. Services will be 11 AM Wednesday October 26, 2016 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with Pastor Jeff Lawson officiating. Burial will take place in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Auburn. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Tuesday and also 1 hour prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral Home.
