WATERLOO — Ruth Ann Kryder, 78, of Waterloo died Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville.

She was born February 6, 1939, in Waterloo to the late Paul F. and Mabel (Porter) Ketel.

She married Clarence Alfred Kryder on April 11, 1959, in the Waterloo United Methodist Church, and he passed away November 28, 2007.

Mrs. Kryder was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Penny Kryder of Butler, Walt and Tyann Kryder of Waterloo, and Terry and Tanya Kryder of Waterloo; three grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a sister, Reba Ketel.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, with Pastor Ron Stratman officiating. Burial will take place in Waterloo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
