Ruth U. Wilson, 93, of Auburn died Monday, March 5, 2018, at The Laurels of DeKalb Nursing Home in Butler.
Mrs. Wilson worked at the Auburn Rubber Company, Messenger Corp. in Auburn and was a waitress for 14 years at the Greenhurst Country Club in Auburn.
She was a member of the County Line Church of God in rural Auburn. She was also a volunteer at the Victory Museum.
She was born January 11, 1925, in DeKalb County to the late Warren E. and Doris P. (Meyer) Noragon.
She married Lloyd K. Wilson on January 31, 1947, in Auburn, and he died September 13, 1998.
Surviving are three children, Lorri and David Christlieb of Port Charlotte, Florida, Dale and Diane Wilson of Auburn, and James and Barbara Heller of Auburn; nine grandchildren, Mark Heller, Debra Eberhard, Diana Heller, Jon Forrest, Mike Forrest, Lisa Goodman, Brad Wilson, Jenny Caylor and Taya Saunders; and nine great-grandchildren, Jenna, Kyle, Jordan, Emma, Evan, Madyson, Benjamin, Kathryn and Anastasia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Betty Forrest; grandson Travis Christlieb; daughter-in-law Marsha Heller; two brothers, Robert Noragon and Lyle Noragon; and a sister, Deloris Carpenter.
A graveside service will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1605 Center St., Auburn, with Pastor Steve Schlatter officiating.
Visitation will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn.
