Terrie Williams Mays, age 51, of rural Auburn passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. 

She was born on December 1, 1964 in Radford, Virginia to John and Linda (Keesling) Williams.

Terrie married Robert M. Mays on December 15, 1984 at the Travis Air Force Base in Solano County, California.  He resides in Auburn.

She honorably served her country in the United States Air Force from 1983 to 1987.

Terrie enjoyed being a stay at home mom and a homemaker.

She was a member of the Garrett American Legion, DeKalb County 912 Group and the DeKalb County Concerned Citizens Group.

Survivors include: 

Her husband; Robert M. Mays of Auburn.

Son and daughter-in-law; Clint and Jennifer Mays of LaOtto.

Son; Kyle Mays of Auburn.

2 grandchildren; Alexander Mays and Christopher Mays.

Her mother; Linda Schrader of Wytheville, Virginia.

Brother and sister-in-law; Michael and Laura Williams of Billings, Montana.

Brother; Richard Williams of Sugar Grove, Virginia.

Sister; Kim Horne of Marion, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her father and her maternal grandparents; Clinton and Josie Keesling.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Auburn.

Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date.
