Thelma Maxine (Bohler) Myers
September 19, 1928 ~ August 7, 2017 (age 88) 88 Years OldAUBURN — Thelma Maxine Myers, 88 of Auburn died Monday, Aug. 7, 2017, at DeKalb Health hospital in Auburn.
She was born Sept. 19, 1928, in Waterloo to Elmer and Opal (Stayer) Bohler.
She was a graduate of Ashley High School and a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Auburn.
She worked at Messenger Corporation in Auburn, Sacred Heart Hospital in Garrett, DeKalb County Auditor’s Office and the DeKalb County Prosecutor’s Office.
She married Ralph G. Myers in Auburn on Jan. 4, 1947 and he died April 5, 1988
Surviving are a son, Larry E. Myers of Auburn; a daughter, Cheryl A. Myers of Auburn; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a sister, Phyllis Dunn of Fremont; and a brother and sister-in-law, Everett and Linda Bohler of Hudson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter-in-law Christie Myers; and a brother, Robert Bohler.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Auburn with Rev. Dr. Marcus Carlson officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Auburn. Calling is one hour prior to the service Saturday, from 1-2 p.m., at the church.
