Tim L. Cooper, 55, of Auburn, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at his home in Auburn.
He was born August 6, 1962, in Auburn to Roxie and James Cooper.
Known to many as “Cracker Jack”, he worked at Sechler’s Pickle Factory for 23 years. While there, he created the Jalapeno Sweet Relish.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles, competing in dog swims, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Cooper of Fort Wayne; mother Roxie Cooper of Angola; brother and sister-in-law Ronnie and Brenda; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Deb and Rich Burniston of Auburn and Diane and Ralph McDaniel of Fremont.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Cooper; brother Gary Cooper; and cousin/best friend, Rick Cooper.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with visitation from 1–2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. The Rev. Ron Stambaugh and Rick Collins will be officiating. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Visitation also will be from 2–4 and 6–8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
