Jerry Rex Garrison

Jerry Rex Garrison, age 77, of Fremont passed away on Monday, September 14, 2020.

He was born on June 7, 1943 in Tipton, Indiana to Rex and Thelma (Edgell) Garrison.  

Jerry graduated from Jefferson Township High School and Indiana Northern University.  He worked at Essex Wire/United Technologies, Group Dekko and as a manufacturer’s representative prior to his retirement. 

He was an active member of the Auburn First United Methodist Church and the Lake George Conservancy.  Jerry was most happy spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include: 

His wife; Janice Garrison of Fremont.

Daughter and son-in-law; Aimee and Shane LaMartz of Fishers.

Son and daughter-in-law; David and Tammy Garrison of Van Buren, Indiana.

Son and daughter-in-law; Jason and Jennifer Garrison of Fort Wayne. 

11 grandchildren.

Sister and brother-in-law; Brenda and Dorian Reeder of Athens, Texas.

Brother; Gene Garrison of Hartford City, Indiana.

Brother and sister-in-law; Joe and Cindy Garrison of Aberdeen, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister; Joy Wasson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Auburn First United Methodist Church, 1203 East Seventh Street in Auburn.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Auburn First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Fenstermacher officiating.

Burial will take place in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn at a later date.

Memorial donations may be directed to the Auburn First United Methodist Church or the Lake George Conservancy, 1042 South Angola Road, Coldwater, Michigan 49036.
