Patsy J. Hetrick, 71, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at her home in Auburn.
She was born on April 7, 1952, in Hudson, Michigan to Ivan and Iva (Baker) Nichols.
Patsy loved working alongside her daughter, Chandra, as dog groomers. She worked for Grooming Dales for 17 years, retiring in 2024.
She was a member of New Hope Christian Center in Waterloo.
Patsy enjoyed reading the Bible, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are three children and their spouses, Harmon N. and Brienne Hetrick of Hicksville, Ohio, Chandra K. and Ron Corkwell of Auburn, and April M. and Jeff Purdy of Auburn’ seven grandchildren, Breann Purdy, Blake Purdy, Emily Hetrick, Madison Hetrick, Harmon A. Hetrick, Amanda Corkwell and Ashley Corkwell; six great grandchildren; three siblings and their spouses, Ivan and Betty Nichols of Montpelier, Ohio, Winston and Karen Nichols of Montpelier, Ohio, and Beverley Sidle of Montpelier, Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Kimberly Nichols of Edgerton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Warren Nichols.
A celebration of life will take place at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at New Hope Christian Center, 900 S. Wayne Street, Waterloo, with the Rev. Ralph Diehl officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 2 – 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2024, prior to the service at the church.
