Tom H. Frazie

Tom H. Frazie, age 76 of Waterloo, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

He was born on October 28, 1947 in Fort Wayne to Harold and Jean (Naitzka) Frazie.  He graduated from Kendallville High School and then earned two Associates Degrees from IVY Tech in Fort Wayne.

Tom honorably served his country in the United States Army serving in Vietnam.

Over the years Tom has worked at International Harvester in Fort Wayne, Auburn Gear, Modern-Aire in Waterloo and R. R. Donelley in Angola, retiring in 2012.  Recently, Tom had been working at Casey’s Convenience Stores in Waterloo and Ashley one day a week. 

Tom was a member of the American Legion and the Kendallville VFW.  He loved going fishing and participated in numerous Bass Fishing Tournaments around the area over the years.  He also enjoyed gardening and bird hunting.  Tom was an avid New York Yankees and Indiana University fan. 

Survivors include:

Daughter and son-in-law; Tami and Jim Aaron of Angola.

Two granddaughters; Kenna Aaron and her fiancé, Dakota Brown and Kalli Aaron. 

Sister and brother-in-law; Gretchen and Bryan Riehm of Kendallville.

Brother and sister-in-law; David and Alice Frazie of Corunna.

Brother-in-law; David Norden of Kendallville.

Several nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister; Jennifer Norden. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Hudson United Brethren Church, 516 North Main Street in Hudson.  Additional visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Hudson United Brethren Church with Pastor Craig Burkholder officiating.  

Memorial donations may be given to the Hudson United Brethren Church.
