Anna Marie (Halencak) Brand

Waterloo – Anna Marie Brand, 82 of Waterloo passed away Tuesday June 5, 2018 at DeKalb Health in Auburn. She was born on March 19, 1936 in Vernon, Texas to Charles C. and Louise (Micola) Halencak. She was a homemaker, raising her 4 children and working with her husband Jim on the family dairy farm. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed attending church when her health allowed. Anna married James Brand on November 24, 1956 in Exeter, California and he survives. Also surviving are 4 children and their spouses, Jim and Patty Brand of Waterloo, George and Christine Brand of Waterloo, Suzanne and Rhett Butler of Loudonville, Ohio and Naomi and Stan Everetts of Waterloo; 7 grandchildren, Josh Brand, Julie (Randy) King, Mandy (Nathan) Culler, David (Kim) Brand Nellora Butler, Abram (Mara) Butler and Josiah Butler and there are 20 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Louise Parsons of Auburn, CA, Irene Cabral of Hayword, CA and Pauline Halencak of Roseville, CA. She was preceded in death by her Parents, 2 grandsons, Jared and Jacob Brand, 2 brothers, Charles Halencak and Paul Halencak and a sister Agnes Webb. Services will be 11 am Saturday June 9, 2018 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN with Rev Tamra Gerber officiating. Burial will follow the service at Fairfield Cemetery, Corunna. Calling is Friday from 2 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
