Betty L (Boren) Shuff

Auburn – Betty L Shuff, 85 of Auburn, died Monday May 20, 2019 at Kingston Care Center in Fort Wayne. She was born June 2, 1933 in Garrett to George W and Gladys (Burns) Boren Sr. She worked at the A & P Store in Auburn for 21 years then at Rieke Corporation until her retirement in 1996. After her retirement she worked in the Deli at Walmart until 2002 She was a member of the Auburn First United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose and Butler American Legion Ladies Aux. Betty married Robert H Shuff on November 23, 1951 in Angola and he died November 4, 2002. Surviving are a son and daughter in law, Robert A and Signa Shuff of Auburn; a daughter and son in law, Debra and Donald Kennedy of Auburn; 7 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Beverly McClish of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother George Boren Jr, and a sister Patricia Baughn. Services will be 2 PM Tuesday May 28, 2019 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN with burial to follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Auburn. Calling is 2 hours prior to the service Tuesday from 12 to 2 at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
