Billy M. Boyer, 80, of Ball Lake in Hamilton, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville, Indiana.
He was born May 26, 1937, in Edgerton, Ohio, to the late Harmon L. and Florence (Walley) Boyer. Bill worked as a self-employed carpenter for his entire life. He was a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Angola, Indiana.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Heidi Boyer of Fishers, Indiana; daughter Amy Boyer of Fishers, Indiana; stepdaughter and son-in-law Anne (Wahlrobe) Koyle and Doug Koyle of Columbus, Ohio; stepson Michael Wahlrobe of Toledo, Ohio; five grandchildren, Rachel E. Boyer, Mackenzie L. Boyer and Caleb J. Boyer, all of Fishers, Indiana, Erin Koyle of Columbus, Ohio, and Leah Wahlrobe, of Toledo, Ohio; one brother, Louis Boyer of Hamilton, Indiana; and two sisters, Virginia Flegal and Shirley Boyer, both of Green Valley, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Verna (Curry) Boyer; brother Johnny Boyer; and a sister, Genevieve Higley.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2018, at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 700 W. Maumee St., Angola, with Father Robert Showers officiating.
A celebration of life memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Hamilton United Methodist Church, 7780 S. Wayne St., Hamilton, with visitation from 10–11 a.m. prior to the service Tuesday. The Rev. Larry Dimick will be officiating. A lunch will be served by the Hamilton United Methodist Church immediately following the service. Final burial will take place in Eddy Cemetery.
