Blanche “Conn” Hilsmier, age 72, of Auburn passed away on Monday June 10, 2019 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

She was born on April 19, 1947 in Martin, Kentucky to Johnny Edward Mann Sr. and Betty (Manual) Mann.

Blanche worked at Magnavox in Garrett and Columbia City for 20 years retiring in 2000. She enjoyed attending churches where her brother, Thomas Mann served as the pastor. She also enjoyed watching old westerns on TV, reading and she was known for cooking a great breakfast. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids and family.

Survivors Include:

Son; Jerry Conn of Waterloo.

Son; Mac Conn of Wolcottville.

Son and daughter-in-law; Matthew and Donna Parks of Garrett.

Daughter and son-in-law; Rachel and Duane Evans of Bradenton, Florida.

9 grandchildren; Nathan Conn, Kyle Conn, Kurtis Conn, McKenzie Conn, McKalyn Conn, Saylor Evans, Bree Napier, Braydon Napier and Zander Parks.

7 great grandchildren.

Brother and sister-in-law; Charles and Amy Mann of Ashley.

Sister and brother-in-law; Betty and Larry Woods of Auburn.

Half brother and his wife; Ross and Melissa Mann of Santa Fe, Tennessee.

Half brother and his wife; Jessie and Jessica Mann of Cookeville, Tennessee.

Half brother and his wife; Johnny and Tammy Mann of Garrett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Johnny Edward Mann Jr. and Floyd Mann, 2 sisters; Mary Rodman and Louise Osbun, 2 infant brothers and 1 infant sister.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. Additional visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Auburn with her brother Pastor Thomas Mann officiating.

Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
