Brenda S. Lingar, 53, of Waterloo died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at her home in rural Waterloo.
Mrs. Lingar worked for R.P. Wakefield in Waterloo, Walmart in Auburn and DeKalb High School as a janitor.
She was a former member of the Waterloo Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auburn American Legion Post 97.
She was born Oct. 8, 1964, in Auburn to Virgil K. and Ened “Annie” (Musser) Pankop.
She married Telmon Lingar on March 17, 1982, in Putnamville.
Surviving are her husband, Telmon Lingar of Waterloo; mother Ened “Annie” Pankop of Waterloo; two daughters, Kelly Spallinger of Waterloo and Trisha Lingar of Auburn; six grandchildren; a sister, Sheryl (Rick) Truelove of Waterloo; and two brothers, Mike Pankop of Waterloo and Bradley Pankop of Waterloo.
She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Pankop; and a brother, Danny Pankop.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, with visitation from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The Rev. Ralph Diehl will officiate. Burial will take place in Fairfield Cemetery in rural Corunna.
Visitation also will be from 2–6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials are to the Feller and Clark Funeral Home to help with expenses.
