Carolyn Ann Rinehold, 72, of Waterloo, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at Auburn Village Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing in Auburn.
She was born May 17, 1946, in Garrett to the late Clarence R. and Yolanda E. (Muzzillo) Dietrich.
Carolyn was a homemaker.
Carolyn enjoyed bingo, playing cards, crocheting and racing. What she cherished most was the time spent with her grandchildren and the various activities they took part in.
Surviving are three children and their spouses, Denise and Brent Jack of Auburn, Reginna and Jimmy Halbert of Kendallville, and Chad and Glenda Gingrich of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; nine grandchildren, Alyssa and Tyler Lanning, Tyler and Alicia Golden, Cassandra Halbert, Trevor Gingrich, Corey Halbert, Clayton Halbert, Hunter Jack, Tanner Jack and Meghan Gingrich; and a great-granddaughter, Alexis Golden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Clarence Richard “Dick” Dietrich and Steven Dietrich.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 500 E. Seventh St., Auburn, with Father Timothy Wrozek officiating.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, prior to the service at the church.
Memorials may be directed to a local animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
