Carolyn Kay (Fogle) Vinson, 73, of St. Joe, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
Carolyn was born Nov. 27, 1944, in Hicksville, Ohio, to the late Wayne and Helen (High) Fogle.
She married Jerome A. Vinson on Aug. 17, 1963, in Auburn.
Carolyn retired from Sechler’s Pickle Factory in St. Joe.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church since 1963. She also was a member of the Butler American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerome Anthony Vinson of St. Joe; two sons, Jeff Vinson and his wife, Dana, of Hamilton, and Curt Vinson and his wife, Brenda, of St. Joe; daughter, Lisa Carey and her husband, Scott, of Wesley Chapel, Florida; eight grandchildren, Madison, Kaitlen, Brock, Braden, Ashley, Tanner, Katelin and Nicole; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Adalynn; and four siblings, MaryAnn Goings of Auburn, Richard Fogle of St. Joe, Shirley Clark of Spring Hill, Florida, and Rita Sebring of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kathleen Warstler; and a brother, Ronald Fogle.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 500 E. Seventh St., Auburn, with Father Timothy Wrozek officiating. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery in St. Joe.
Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with the rosary being recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
