Dallas Wayne Stackhouse, 27, of Corunna, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born on March 27, 1992, in Fort Wayne to Bruce and Kriss (Klink) Stackhouse.
Dallas farmed for Schermerhorn and Martz Farms.
He was a 2010 graduate of DeKalb High School. He loved spending time with his friends, family (especially his two nephews), farming, the outdoors and tinkering in the shop with his dad.
Surviving are his parents, Bruce and Kriss Stackhouse; sister and brother-in-law, Brittany and Trent Shearer, of Auburn; two nephews, Macklin Bruce Shearer and Knox Thomas Shearer; grandparents, Wayne and Carol Klink, of Pleasant Lake and June Stackhouse, of Kendallville; aunts and uncles, Kevin and Barb Stackhouse, of Nashville, Tennessee, Dale Stackhouse, of Wolcottville, Mike and Kim Smith, of Waterloo, and Tina Flaugh, of Ashley; cousins, Gus Stackhouse, Jacob Stackhouse, Jordan (Brandy) Stackhouse, Ryan (Angie) Stackhouse, Troy (Kline) Stackhouse, Amanda (Omar) Gonzalaz, David Stackhouse, Logan (Christine) Smith, Alex (Amanda) Smith, Cory (Wei) Vian, of Noblesville, and Megan (Trace) Dean, of Corunna.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dallas Stackhouse; and uncle, Gary Stackhouse.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Auburn Church of the Nazarene, 2301 N. Main St., Auburn, with visitation from 10-11 a.m., prior to the service at the church.
The Rev. Doug Thomas will be officiating. Burial will take place at Fairfield Cemetery in rural Corunna.
Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Auburn Church of the Nazarene.
Memorials may be directed to DeKalb County Humane Shelter or American Cancer Society in honor of Dallas’s grandfather, Dallas Stackhouse.
