Daniel N. Brown Sr.

Daniel N. Brown Sr., 55, of Auburn, passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.

Daniel was born Sept. 6, 1963, in Fort Wayne to the late Ernest L. and Marjorie E. (Jenkins) Brown.

He was a graduate of Eastside High School was a veteran of the United States Army.

He married Holly Janelle Cox on Dec. 1, 1984, at Norris Chapel United Methodist Church in Auburn, and she passed away Jan. 12, 2018.

Daniel worked for the Ball Brass & Aluminum Foundry in Auburn, retiring in 2012.

Surviving are a son, Daniel Nathan Brown Jr. of Auburn; granddaughter, Paisleigh Janay Brown of Auburn; and four siblings, Joseph Brown of Lafayette, William and Lori Brown of South Carolina, Beverly Mercer of Butler, and Nancy and Gene Martin of Orland.

A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn. The Rev. Dr. Robert Craig will be officiating. Burial will take place in Cedar Creek Cemetery in rural Auburn with military honors being conducted by the United States Army and American Legion Post 178 of Garrett. 

The family will receive friends from 10–11 a.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
