Dick L. Moore, 87, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017, at his home at Smith Farms Manor in Auburn.

Dick was born January 3, 1930, in Fort Wayne to the late Roy and Evelyn (Kimmel) Moore.

He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War.

Dick was a construction worker working for the operator’s union.

Surviving are two children and their spouses, Pam and Jerry Weimer of Auburn and Rick and Dian Moore of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren and their spouses, Vanessa and Brandon Bennett, Jaymee and Graham McIntyer, Troy and Nikki Weimer and Tyler and Cara Moore; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Mary Moore, who passed away in March of 2013.

There will be no services conducted.

Private burial will take place at Scipio Cemetery in Harlan.
