Fort Wayne – Ella May Ruth Michael, 89 of Fort Wayne died Wednesday June 20, 2018 at Greystone Health and Rehabilitation in Fort Wayne. She was born in Fort Wayne on August 3, 1928 to George and Lydia (Lampract) Michael and they have both passed away as have her 2 sisters, LouAnn Bishop and Lois Leightner. Ella worked as a Sales Associate and in New Store Development for Neizers Department Store in Fort Wayne for over 20 years. She loved to travel to open new stores throughout the continental United States. She worked for over 8 years at the Hallmark Store in Glenbrook Mall before retiring in 2010. In her free time she loved to garden and watch sports, especially Chicago Bears Football. You didn’t dare touch the remote if Football was on. She never married but is survived by Nieces and Nephews. Services will be 1 PM Monday June 25, 2018 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Fort Wayne.
