Greg Lumpkins

Greg Lumpkins, age 63, of Waterloo passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 surrounded by his family.

He was born on May 12, 1955 in Garrett to Laben and Pat (Freed) Lumpkins. 

Greg married Pat Rupert on September 23, 1973.  She resides in Waterloo.

He retired from the Rieke Corporation in Auburn in 2017 after 39 years of service.  He was inducted into the President’s Club on July 30, 2004 in appreciation for 25 years of continuous loyal service.  He loved camping, fishing, gold prospecting and spending time with kids and grandkids.

His wife of 45 years; Pat Lumpkins of Waterloo.

Son; Jeramee Lumpkins of Auburn.

Son and daughter-in-law; Joe and Amy Lumpkins of Auburn.

Son; Alex Lumpkins of Fort Wayne.

Daughter and son-in-law; April and Brad Miller of Waterloo.

Daughter; Sierra Lumpkins of Fort Wayne.

Daughter; Alexis Lumpkins of Waterloo.

Daughter; Elizabeth Lumpkins of Waterloo.

7 grandchildren; Gavin Lumpkins, Jocelyn Lumpkins, Chandra Lumpkins, Danica Lumpkins, Landon Miller, Carter Miller and Jazmine Miller.

Sister; Deb Swift of Farmland, Indiana.

Sister and brother-in-law; Diane and Kenny Ross of Kendallville.

Brother and sister-in-law; Blaine and Marcy Lumpkins of Fremont.

Many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Howard Lumpkins and brother-in-law; Steve Swift.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 23, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street in Waterloo. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Waterloo with Pastor Ralph Diehl officiating.

Burial will take place in the Waterloo Cemetery.
