Herman Gingrich Obituary
Herman P. Gingrich, age 76, of Auburn passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Auburn Village.
He was born on July 30, 1943 in Waterloo. He honorably served his country in the United States Army.
Mr. Gingrich worked as a self-employed carpenter for many years. He was a member of the Auburn American Legion. His true passion was music. He truly enjoyed preforming in the Golden Memories Band. His band would perform in retirement communities, nursing homes and American Legions in the area.

Daughter and son-in-law; Denise and Brent Jack of Auburn.
Daughter and son-in-law; Regina and Jim Halbert of Wolcottville.
Son and daughter-in-law; Chad and Glenda Gingrich of Elizabethtown, Kentucky.
Daughter; Holly North of Arizona.
Daughter; Heather North of Arizona.
9 grandchildren; Alyssa Lanning, Tyler Golden, Hunter Jack, Tanner Jack, Cassandra Halbert, Corey Halbert, Clayton Halbert, Trevor Gingrich and Meghan Gingrich.
1 great granddaughter; Alexis Golden.
Brother; Kenneth Gingrich of Fort Wayne.
Brother and sister-in-law; Tom and Sandy Mettert of Angola.
Sister; Vicki Stafford of Waterloo.
He was preceded in death by his father; Albert Gingrich, his mother and father; Evlyn and Frank Mettert and his former spouse; Carolyn Rinehold.
All friends and family are invited to a memorial lunch from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM, and a memorial service at 3:00 PM on November 23, 2019 at the Auburn American Legion Post 97, 1729 Sprott Street in Auburn, Indiana.
