I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jack. He touched my heart in the short amount of time that I got to know him. One day when I was helping him I commented on his duck hat; 2 days later he brought me a pink duck hat. He was a very kind and thoughtful gentleman. Prayers for peace and comfort.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of your father . I remember him and your mother in church many years ago. He seemed like a good man and you always spoke highly of him. He raised a daughter with the same qualities. May the Lord comfort you in your time of pain.....

Jack lived a full life. He was a great employee and sales rep for Messenger for many many years. I have a picture of Jack in my office sitting at a press when he was a young man. He is wearing a white lab coat for the picture. He jokingly told me that after the picture the company gathered up all the brand new smocks.
He will be missed.

I'm retired after 44 years in the funeral business. I worked with Jack for many years when I bought supplies and printed material from him. He was a great guy. He was a great representative for the Messenger Corporation. Sympathy to his family. Rest In Peace Jack.

Mary and Laurie, we are so shocked at the death of Jack. He was such a great cousin and a wonderful husband to you and father to Laurie. He had quite a life and many of the details you have written about him? we did not know. Living in the same town all your life gives you a great closeness in community and friends. He was so talented and I never knew he did all those wonderful things. He never told us.
It is so sad to know that he is gone. We both know he is in heaven with his Mom and Dad and Brother and Nephew. He was blessed to have you both. George and I will be at viewing on Thursday and Funeral on Friday. Karen will come too. Praying for you both. I told George I wished he could have had that popsicle when he asked for one but I guess the nurses thought he would choke? Love to you both !

Mary and Laurie,
I was sorry to read of Jack's passing. I pray that the Lord may help you through the next few days, weeks and months as you begin to heal. Losing a spouse or a parent is not an easy situation with which to deal, but all of us have to deal with the losses as we go through life. I miss Bill a lot but hold close to my heart all of the memories of our years together, even the year that we all were neighbors at the Southedge MH Park and were all snowed in during the Winter of 1964-65. All good memories.

God Bless

Mary, I am very sad and yet I have so many wonderful memories. Reading about Jack at Lake James brought images of the Mitchener cottage and the fun we had there. I am glad that Jack was at the class reunion and I am glad that I saw you in September.
